I regularly teach courses on British literature (with a focus on the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries); poetry and poetics; the history and philosophy of science; religion and the theory of the secular; and various modes of composition. I’m interested in finding new ways for students to use new media, and in helping them make connections between different modes of writing and between disciplines.

Below is a list of courses I have taught. The hyperlinked titles will take you to student-produced blogs that came out of those courses, and current students should feel free to read what prior students have written and join the conversation. I also maintain a list of resources for literary study, which compiles resources previous students have found helpful.
